Schools reopened in January 2011, and we are thrilled to announce that Nema is now supporting 127 children with secondary school scholarships. That’s a staggering 42 more students than last year!
Nema awards the scholarship places according to socio-economic status and academic merit, and we’d like to say a huge congratulations to all the successful candidates. We’d also like to say a special thank you to Guludo guests for their support, especial to Laura Tenison (and Jojo Maman Bebe ), plus Paddy LeFluffy for all his hard work while helping Nema in Guludo and his valiant fundraising.
It costs just £60 to give a child a secondary school scholarship for a year.
