It's been an exciting month for Nema with the expansion of health projects, a new member of the team and the launch of this new site.
Here's what's been going on in and around Guludo, Mozambique.....
Projects
Water
This month all the preparations have been made to start drilling and repairing water points in up to 12 villages. If all goes to plan these
next water points should be started next month.
Thank you Global Angels, GKN and Mark Abott
Hygiene and Sanitation
Most time has been spent this month developing and expanding this simple and enormously efficient project.
Thank you Anton Jurgens Charitable Trust
Malaria
The final nets arrived earlier this month which brings the total number of people sleeping under mosquito nets to approximately 10,000. This
translates as all of the two most at risk groups from malaria (children under five and expectant mothers) are now sleeping under mosquito nets
in 6 villages.
Thank you Bespoke Experience, Global Angels and JoJo Maman Bébé
School Feeding
The feeding program is still going strong, and for the first time in the history of Guludo, school attendance ISN'T dwindling!
Thank you Global Angels
Website
Top of the list of thank you's this month has to be JoJo Maman Bébé who have so generously donated this website to Nema. JoJo has
just made Nema their official charity and have pledged funds for the construction of another primary school as well as helping Nema with UK
administration.
